WOK is short for World of Knowledge. A project that started in 2009 to create the Knowledge Network WOK. It's a nonprofit educational project to enhance learning around the globe by combining three elements.
We are not under the umbrella of Wikipedia. Still, we are a part of the Wikipedia family in spirit and soul since we want to build a global school on top of the encyclopedia. And enrich the articles by putting National Exams and Quizzes on all articles that strengthen all student's ability to not only have access to information for free but getting the tools to verify that knowledge is learned.
In that sense, we call the WOK project a "Wikipedia 2.0"
or more common The Knowledge Network WOK.
